MID-AMERICA CABINETS LAUNCHES ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CABINET LINE
(GENTRY, AR) – Mid-America Cabinets has announced the addition of its new Eco-Design line of cabinets. The new line is designed to meet the toughest environmental requirements for indoor air quality and the recovery/recycling of wood fibers.
All panel products used in the Eco-Design line have no added formaldehyde and are made with 100 percent recycled and/or recovered fiber. The cabinet may contribute toward specific credits under the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) criteria. In addition, particle board used in Eco-Design meets the emission requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Mid-America’s new line will provide general contractors and developers a wide range of options including three wood species (red oak, maple and knotty alder), two box styles, and up to seven door styles. Eco-Design is certified by Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).
Mid-America Cabinets manufactures and distributes cabinets nationwide to the multi-family industry. Founded in 1982, the company offers six other product lines including a KCMA-certified HUD Severe Use box. For more details on Eco-Design, contact Rob Sample at (479) 736-2671.
